At present, Anping is the largest industrial base of silk screen and the world's largest distribution center of silk screen products, has been awarded by the state "China's home of silk screen", "China's silk screen Industry base", "China's silk screen production and marketing base" title.
Wire mesh as Anping County's traditional advantage industry, has more than 500 years of development history. In recent years, the county through vigorous implementation of "characteristic county, open county, science and education county, information county" four strategies, constantly promote the optimization and upgrading of the silk screen industry.
At present, the county screen products have developed to 8 series, more than 400 varieties, more than 6000 specifications, employees reached 140,000 people, annual wire drawing 2.24 million tons, annual weaving capacity of 500 million square meters, production, sales and exports accounted for more than 80% of the country.
Anping County relies on the funds raised by enterprises and merchants to build the domestic first-class trading city -- Anping Wire Mesh World, which has settled more than 1000 merchants and radiated more than 6000 wire mesh stores across the country, with an annual turnover exceeding 4.8 billion yuan.

The silk screen industry in Anping has a history of more than 500 years since its origin in 1488 during the reign of Emperor Hongzhi of the Ming Dynasty. At present, Anping has become the country's largest screen production and export base and the world's largest screen product distribution center, has been named by the country as "China's home of screen", "China's screen industry base", "China's screen production and marketing base".
